Are you frustrated because you can’t pay your bills? Are you at the end of your rope? Do you need a safe place to ask questions? One-on-one free financial counseling by trained students from the University of Missouri Office for Financial Success. Financial counselors will work with you on any aspect of your personal finances. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (V.I.T.A)
The 2018 VITA program provides free tax assistance to low income, disabled, homebound, and English as a second language taxpayers. University of Missouri students in the department of Personal Financial Planning program provide this service to individuals in the Columbia community. This service is available to households with incomes less than $60,000. There are no appointments necessary. Services are on a first-come, first serve basis until the site reaches maximum capacity.
